Hey we are Ray & Cara Black and we are part time Missionaries to Haiti. Cara has been going to Haiti since 2005 with Northwest Haiti Christian Mission (www.nwhcm.org) Cara had the opportunity to live in Haiti for the summer of 2007 which was a life changing experience. Cara has been to Haiti 10 times and is planning more trips in. Ray went to Haiti in May 2010 for the first time to work with victims of the earthquake. Ray had an amazing time and is looking forward to future trips into the country to help those in need. Currently Cara is a graduate student in the Occupational Therapy program at Gannon University. Ray is a Diesel Mechanic and in the US Marine Corp. We encourage everyone to check out the mission website at www.nwhcm.org. There are many wants to get involved with the mission. Whether it is sending a child to school, helping the medical clinic get supplies, or working with a building project there is so much to do!

I am also a short term missionary in Haiti. Have served in Northeastern Haiti in the Terrier Rouge area mostly with the “His Hands for Haiti” child sponsorship program.
